Boys and Girls Athletics
The mission of the L. G. Pinkston High School Athletic Department is to provide student-athletes with an opportunity to compete successfully in a high school program that is an integral part of their educational experience. The experience will provide a personalized learning environment with equitable participation opportunities for student-athletes to develop their leadership potential. Win or lose, the LGP Athletic Department will encourage student-athletes to provide a winning effort, exhibit sportsmanship, and demonstrate respect for all.
Cal Ripkin, Sr. Foundation donates resources and fitness equipment to Pinkston High School
The Cal Ripkin, Sr. Foundation donated thousands of dollars in resources, fitness and weight room equipment, and supplies to Pinkston High School Athletics. The new equipment will hopefully encourage students toward a lifetime of health, fitness, and recreation. Students and coaches received nutritional counseling and a demonstration in use of the new equipment. The weight room was completely remolded and updated with new paint and fixtures. Pinkston would like to thank the Cal Ripkin, Sr. Foundation, United Health Care, Eco Media- CBS Affiliate , and the local Home Depot store volunteers for their support and help in completing this project.
