Pinkston H-TECH Uniforms

Students of Pinkston H-TECH will wear designated uniforms with the P-TECH logo for the 2023-2024 school year. The uniform guidelines are as follows:
Mondays and Wednesdays - Business Casual Dress Days
Tuesdays and Thursdays - Professional Dress Days
Fridays - Viking Spirit Dress Day
(A) Mondays and Wednesdays "Business Casual"
Top: Grey Short Sleeve Polo w/Logo (Cotton or Dri-Fit)
Bottom: Black Color Bottoms
Shoes: Athletic shoes, loafers, dress shoes, other closed-toe and closed-heel shoes, closed-toe, open-heeled mules. Crocs may not be worn on Business Casual Days (NO HOUSE SLIPPERS, HOUSE SHOES OR SLIDES)
Optional: P-TECH Black and Gold Tie (men), Red Cross Tie (ladies), Cardigan Sweater w/Logo, Pullover Sweater w/Logo, Sweater Vest w/Logo (NO PULLOVER OR ZIPPER HOODIES)
Students attending classes at Dallas College must adhere to the Dallas ISD Basic Uniform Requirement. /Page/102
(B) Tuesdays and Thursdays "Professional Dress"
Top: White Long Sleeve or Short Sleeve Button Down Oxford Shirt w/Logo and Red Cross Tie (ladies) or Black/Gold Striped Tie (men's)
Bottom: Khaki Color Bottoms
Shoes: Athletics shoes, loafers, dress shoes, other closed-toe and closed-heel shoes, closed-toe, open-heeled mules. Crocs may not be worn on Professional Dress Days (NO HOUSE SLIPPERS, HOUSE SHOES OR SLIDES)

Top: Pinkston H-TECH or Pinkston High School T-Shirt (NO PULLOVER OR ZIPPER HOODIES)
Bottom: Khaki Color or Black Color Bottoms (NO JEANS)
Shoes: Athletic shoes, loafers, dress shoes, other closed-toed and closed-heel shoes, closed-toe, open-heeled mules. Crocs with a sling back strap may be worn on Fridays ONLY with a Pinkston H-TECH or Pinkston High School T-Shirt (NO HOUSE SLIPPERS, HOUSE SHOES OR SLIDES)
*Designated " Spirit Days" will be assigned throughout the school year and will allow students to wear clothes according to the theme with jeans. Stay tuned to daily morning announcements for details. Designated Spirit Days are considered as:
- Homecoming Week
- Red Ribbon Week
- College Go Get It Week (sponsored by EIF and the counseling team)
- STAAR/EOC Week
- Pink Out
Health Science Scrubs
The 11th and 12th grade Health Science students will be allowed to wear the Pinkston H-TECH scrubs w/logo as part of their uniform option and when on-site visiting with an industry partner for engagements. Yellow Top/Black Bottoms or Black Top/Black Bottoms.

Back Packs
To continue making Dallas ISD schools safe spaces for learning, for the upcoming school year, all secondary students will be required to use clear or mesh backpacks. We will soon begin distributing free clear bags before classes start. For more information, visit www.dallasisd.org/backpacks
